In the world of Nei Gong and Qi Gong, there’s often a misunderstanding—especially when people see videos or photos of practitioners using machines or devices in training. Some jump to the conclusion that Nei Qi Gong is simply about “charging the battery” or manipulating electricity. But that view misses the true depth and purpose of internal energy work.
Nei Qi Gong: More Than a Machine
Yes, in one part of the Nei Qi Gong training path, electricity is used. But it’s only one stage—and not what Nei Qi Gong is ultimately about. The full Nei Qi Gong system includes nine basic programs, each designed to be practiced over two months. These can all be done online.
Then there are six advanced programs, some of which can only be done in person with a teacher. The first advanced practice introduces electricity—not as a shortcut, but as a powerful tool to help the body accumulate Jing, the dense form of vital energy stored in the Lower Dantian.
But this phase only lasts one year. After that, no machine is used. The practitioner must learn to generate refined internal energy without external support.
The Role of the Machine in Internal Alchemy
In that initial advanced phase, we use the machine to help open specific energy channels—from the Lao Gong points in the palms to the Dantian. We also learn a healing technique that allows us to support others with certain health conditions. These methods come from Shifu Luo, and students receive a detailed manual with over 100 pages.
But again, this is just a beginning. Once the body adapts, it must move beyond mechanical tools to access subtler energies. The ultimate goal of Nei Qi Gong isn’t to create sparks or simulate power—it’s to refine the energetic body, awaken higher dimensions of awareness, and cultivate inner transformation through consistent, structured practice.
Real Energy Work Requires Real Practice
Some people ask, “What’s the name of the machine?” or “Where can I buy it?” But these questions reveal a misunderstanding. Nei Qi Gong is not a trick or a hack—it’s not about tools, but about long-term commitment to genuine practice.
Trying to use electricity without proper guidance can be dangerous. Without training, one can easily misuse the practice and cause more harm than good. That’s why the system must be studied step-by-step, under a knowledgeable teacher, and with humility.
Chi Is Not Electricity
It’s important to understand: electricity is not Qi (Chi). While the Chinese recognized certain similarities, Qi is something far subtler and more alive. It cannot be explained intellectually—it must be experienced directly through dedicated internal work.
The beauty of Nei Qi Gong lies in this progressive unfolding. Over time, your body becomes optimized, energized in a way that changes your experience of life itself. With sincerity, discipline, and a deep will to grow, your energy practice becomes more than a method—it becomes a way of being.
A Book That Speaks to the Practitioner
To support students and seekers, I recently published a book titled “Story of a Nei Gong Practitioner.” It’s now available in English, Italian, and Spanish, and offers insights into what it truly means to walk this path.
Whether you're already practicing Nei Gong, exploring Qi Gong, or seeking deeper spiritual growth, this book offers a window into the real heart of internal alchemy—far beyond superpowers or flashy techniques.
