SPIRITUAL FREEDOM without Correct Conduct is very DANGEROUS!!
Welcome to my channel, where we delve into the realms of freedom, personal growth, and spirituality without the constraints of conventional beliefs and dogmas. If you've been following my content, you know that I'm passionate about embracing true freedom while also maintaining a responsible approach to our actions. Today, we're diving into a thought-provoking topic that challenges us to examine the behavior of spiritual teachers and gurus.
Have you ever come across stories of revered masters or spiritual guides crossing ethical boundaries? It's not uncommon to hear about instances where wisdom meets questionable actions. Remember when even the legendary Beatles realized that behind the curtain of their spiritual journey in India, something unsettling was happening?
In this episode, we explore the intriguing phenomenon of "Crazy Wisdom" present in certain traditions, such as Buddhism, which allows teachers to behave unconventionally in pursuit of a higher purpose. As we progress on our spiritual journey, we often realize that our initial notions of spirituality as a confined box fade away. We discover that our journey is not about categorizing actions as spiritual or non-spiritual, good or bad, but about embracing our natural expression within the context of morality.
Drawing from the different levels of Buddhist practice, I shed light on the idea that true liberation allows for unconventional behavior—yet we must be cautious. At the outset of our journey, we tend to compartmentalize our behavior into rigid categories. But as we evolve, we recognize that genuine freedom doesn't lie within a confined space; it encompasses our entire being and expression.
We tackle the intriguing question: How can an enlightened master or a spiritual guide exhibit behaviors that seem contrary to their attainment? It's essential to discern between those who manipulate for personal gain and those who transcend societal norms, expressing themselves naturally. The concept of "good" and "bad" becomes relative when viewed from a broader perspective beyond our limited individual viewpoint.
Diving into Guru Padma Sambhava's wisdom, we explore the notion that our mind can be as vast as the sky, yet our actions are like tiny grains of sand. Balancing our boundless mind with responsible actions is the cornerstone of our growth. While advocating for freedom from imposed structures, I emphasize the significance of morality rooted in the welfare of others.
In a world where cultural contexts vary, we must remember that what's acceptable in one society might not be in another. By embracing our innate freedom while upholding moral principles, we pave the way for genuine growth. So, let's journey beyond conventional boundaries and discover the harmonious interplay between freedom and morality on our quest for spiritual elevation.
